Kristin Knight, MA, NCC, LPC-A supervised by Marci Warren, LPC-S.

Associate Primary Clinician

Kristin received her Master of Arts in Counseling from St. Edward’s University and Bachelor of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University.

Kristen began her career and has 18+ years of working for an advertising agency as an Account Director. Although, her last five years were spent as Director of Agency Culture overseeing the hiring, training, and mentoring of employees. As part of her Master’s program, she interned at Driftwood Recovery and the St. Edward’s Community Counseling Clinic. Through these experiences, she honed her counseling skills and gained experience developing treatment plans and working with individual clients, and grew her knowledge base of process and psychoeducation group therapy modalities. Her areas of interest include identity development, life transitions, grief, and chronic pain.

While caring for her grandmother at the end of her life, Kristin was overcome with the realization that she needed to pursue a role where she could directly impact the life of another person. Kristin's entire career had been in people-focused, team-based roles; however, something was missing. After some soul-searching and lots of research, Kristin decided to pursue counseling as a second career.

Kristin enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, and their dog, Francie. She enjoys playing tennis, traveling, going on family vacations to Colorado (skiing in the winter, hiking in the summer), and volunteering at her kids’ schools.
