Natalie Hisey, LPC, NCC, EMDRC

Senior Clinician

Natalie is a National Certified Counselor (NCC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas and a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in New Mexico. She specializes in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and is EMDRIA-certified for Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR).

Natalie comes from a strong research background. Her interest in research started at the University of Arizona where she focused on how sleep deprivation impacts memory reconsolidation. Natalie obtained her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a Minor in Spanish from the University of Arizona. She also has extensive experience studying addiction and mental illness utilizing modalities such as fMRIs and various psychometrics through her work with The Mind Research Network in Albuquerque.

After completing her graduate internship at the University of New Mexico (UNM) Psychiatric Hospital and her Master's Degree in Counseling from UNM, Natalie focused on providing residential intensive DBT therapy and crisis intervention to teenage girls struggling with suicidality, PTSD, substance abuse, and mood disorders.
