Sean Gorman, LPC
Sean collaborates with the Driftwood Clinical Team on a weekly basis, leading educational and process groups. Sean Gorman is a licensed professional counselor in private practice in Dripping Springs. He received his BS and MS at the University of Colorado. Sean has over 25 years of experience working with adolescents, couples and men. He works primarily with people experiencing mental health difficulties related to anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, bipolar disorder, attention deficit disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, substance abuse, trauma history and relational problems. Sean utilizes a multidimensional approach to the mental health needs of his clients incorporating the biological, psychological, social and spiritual aspects of their lives. Becoming educated about the impact of mental health and brain development, learning how to manage emotions and socially connect with others and developing skills to help manage thoughts are all important aspects of therapy.
Sean strongly value the roles of being a good husband and a good father and I value practicing strategies to help manage my thoughts, feelings and behaviors and create a sense of peace and happiness in his life.
